Emily O’connor had a particularly unpleasant time traveling with Thomas Cook because of a Crop Top story!
Indeed, this young woman experienced humiliation when she was threatened to get out of the plane because her outfit was supposedly not suitable according to the crew members. So Emily O’Connor was wearing a crop top identified as a bra by the crew. She made a big deal about it on television !
EMILY O’CONNOR: AN OUTFIT JUST LIKE THE OTHERS !
So this young 21 year old woman from Birmingham, was wearing an outfit that was considered not very decent on the day of her trip. She made the headlines after telling the world what had happened. She was asked to “cover up or leave”.
While she was leaving for Tenerife, a rather hot city where wearing a crop top is not a problem. It was a Thomas Cook flight, and company employees have since apologized for the incident. However the damage has already been done!
So after that she decided to take part in This Morning to defend her cause. Thus, her black top was judged to be a bra and not an item of clothing.
AN INCIDENT THAT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED!
And you should know that this black top that Emily was wearing as an outfit is sold as a “crop top” at Zara’s.
“I wasn’t wearing a jacket because I was hot. The first lady [on the plane] said I had to cover up, that I was dressed inappropriately. I said, ‘I’d be happy to do that, but could you show me where it’s in your policy,'” she explained.
Then the tone rose, and the passenger asked the other passengers for an opinion on her attire. And apparently no one was outraged! While the crew members did not change their minds!
“I was physically shaking and they could see it, but they continued to sexualize and ridicule me. It was the worst experience of my life. It was the worst experience of my life,” she continued.
In the end, the girl had to put her vest on her shoulders, not forgetting to make a post to say that 85% of the 47,000 people in question seemed to agree that the company had abused them!
Thomas Cook’s spokesman apologized, but the damage has already been done!
